Order a repair estimate on an ISN order

When a client wants a repair price list for their inspection, add the Repair Cost Estimations fee to their order in ISN. sherlock turns on the repair estimate and sherlock chat on that client’s report.

Before you start

• Your company has the repair estimate turned on. Reeli sets this up with you.
• You book the inspection in ISN as usual. Nothing changes in how you schedule.

Add the fee in ISN

1. Open the order in ISN. It can be a new order or one you’ve already booked.

2. Go to the Fees tab.

3. Find Repair Cost Estimations and enter the fee.

   Any amount above $0 orders the repair estimate.

4. Click Save Inspection.

What happens next

• The next time sherlock syncs with ISN, the inspection is marked for the repair estimate.
• If the inspection is already complete, the estimate starts right away. Otherwise it starts when the inspector completes the report.
• The client sees a repair cost for each finding on their report, and can ask sherlock questions about their home.
• If your company turned on the Repair estimate ready email, the client gets an email with a link to their report when it’s ready.

Good to know

• Clients can also unlock the repair estimate themselves on their report, by card, at your company’s price.
• A draft or unscheduled order comes into sherlock once it’s scheduled. The repair estimate comes with it.

Removing the fee doesn’t turn it off

Once an inspection is marked for the repair estimate, taking the fee off the order later doesn’t undo it. If an order was marked by mistake, contact Reeli support.
